About Caitlin

A Northern Virginia native, Caitlin studied piano with Sharon Walker of Alexandria for twelve years. Her education continued at Elon University in North Carolina where she participated in the Piano Pedagogy program. She has been teaching students professionally since 2014.

In addition to building a strong foundation in repertoire and technical ability, lessons with Caitlin emphasize engagement with music history, theory, improvisation, and both academic and recreational listening.

Caitlin is a member Northern Virginia Music Teacher's Association and the National Federation of Music Clubs, giving her students access to a variety of performance opportunities, music festivals, and competitions. 

​

She currently serves as the co-chair of the Falls Church Spring Festival, a yearly performance event for music students in the Northern Virginia area.
